You guys may be quiet little things on the blog most of the time, but I now know the secret of getting you all to talk - Hopeless Lingerie! Man, you boys and girls LOVED this giveaway! It was a roaring success and the lucky winner of the Pentagram harness has now been chosen. I used a random number generator to pick the winning comment, which was number 138 - a reader entrant called Chanel.
Well done, an email is winging it's way to you as I type.
Sorry to everyone else who entered. Hopefully in the future I'll have some other equally amazing giveaways to do the future, and thank you to Hopeless for the harness.
As I have written about the label several times, it comes as no surprise that I have such love for Aussie label Hopeless Lingerie. Unfortunately the scary customs charges from Australia to the UK make it impossible to actually buy anything, which means I must be content to admire from afar.
The label excels at cheeky bondage and occult inspired pieces in luxurious, wearable fabrics. This is basically what I'd love my own lingerie drawer to be filled with.
VALENTINA BODYSUIT - $300.00 The Valentina Bodysuit is made using a lusciously soft and lightweight sheer mesh with an intricate cut out design.
SELENE HARNESS KNICKERS - $110.00 The Selene Harness Knickers are made using a luxuriously soft and lightweight bamboo jersey, with a bondage-inspired strap detail designed to emphasise the curves of the female body.
SUZY BRALETTE - $100.00 The Suzy Bralette is made using limited edition lusciously soft New Zealand Merino wool, and lined with bamboo jersey.
LUNA SUSPENDER - $160.00 The Luna Suspender is inspired by the phases of the moon, and features silver metallic leather attached to high quality Japanese satin elastic straps.
ALICE HARNESS - $215.00 The Alice Harness is a bondage-inspired accessory that can be worn comfortably at night or layered with other garments during the day. The neck straps, as well as each waist strap are fully adjustable and joined to a secure hook and eye closure at the back.
One of the pieces I love the most is the pentagram harnesses and is, I suspect, a huge seller for the label. How excited I am therefore to have one to give away to one lucky KOS reader! It's a size small, so would fit someone a UK8 or smaller.
If you'd like the chance win this amazing harness, simply head over the Hopeless Lingerie shop and tell me your other favourite piece of Hopeless lingerie and leave your answer in the comment section of this post, remembering to fill out a valid email address in the field. The giveaway ends on 15th January.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR ENTRIES, THE COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED. I SHALL ANNOUNCE THE WINNER THURSDAY 15TH JANUARY.
I recently got sort of involved in a 5 week long project called What I See, which asks women from all walks of life what they see when they look in the mirror. The aim was get the women who were asked to take part for the initial launch, to create a small video telling viewers what they see when they look in the mirror. Unfortunately, I was unable to make a video, hence the reason I am only half involved. The press chat says the project is about women being empowered by other women's stories, and whilst I don't really know if women are quite so easily empowered, it is none the less very heartwarming to hear their stories, some of which I'm sure we can all relate to.
I actually found it accutely difficult to answer the question without being entirely negative about myself. Eventually, I settled on "I see someone who does all the things she's told she's too old to do", with ballet springing immediately to mind.
The woman who will be going up on the site next, sharing her video is this lady, who is the leader of the Green Party in England and Wales. The site is open to everyone however, and if you wish to share your own video you can.
Some of you may have noticed on Instagram that I mentioned making cakes for Queen Marie's birthday - well that day is today!
I made her an Alice in Wonderland themed necklace, so here is an Alice image to wish QM a very happy birthday! She is currently on holiday with her parents, but I'm sure there is still lots of tea and cake involved. And maybe some tinned salmon.
Oh and shopping fairy, of you could see your way to sending her a new awesome coat, that'd be amazing.
