We've always loved a bit of Grazia here in The Kingdom.
More and more I get my fix daily from Grazia online.
But I always make a point of buying special issues.
Grazia have always had an enviable record of leading from the front when it comes to moving with the times
As well as buying the magazine online to read on your ipad now you can even download a free Grazia app that literally lets you shop straight from the page!
Oh Lordy, I have never felt older, poorer and sadder!
The Fashion Charts detail their "top 30 must-buy items that will catupult you into Spring /Summer 2013" and using the app you can buy any of the featured items instantly
Of course I can see the attraction of it -the simplicity, the convenience, the immediacy.
But I would be lying if I didn't say, this unsettles me in several ways.
There are items featured here, that for me would be aspirational purchases. Things that I would have to save towardsor make sacrifices for, before I was in any kind of position that would enable me to get my grubby little paws on them.
Even if I wanted them, it's highly unlikely that I would ever have a spare £8019.99 sitting in my bank account to buy the top five items featured in their chart. I have neither the available funds or the financial freedom to even think about it.
I'm fighting a cold today with a head full of cotton wool so I can't really verbalise my misgivings more clearly than this but suffice to say, this "snap it up" situation is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
*sigh*
