Working on computers all day, sometimes a slip of the finger can result in ahappy accident on screen.
You don't really tend to think of them occuring in photography or fine art, but apparently they do!
Take for example the photo allegory work of artist Sarolta Ban
When asked about the inspiration behind her striking surrealest digital artworks, she said -
"It’s strange to say, but for most of the images, the idea is just accidental, once it’s appear, sometimes later I recognize the happening of my life which may have helped cause this and yes interesting books, emotional dialogs, inner feelings, dreams are among the things which are the source of inspiration.
I was born in 1982 in Budapest, Hungary. Originally I’m a jewellery designer, later I discovered digital photo manipulation and it became my passion and main activity. I like using ordinary elements and by combining them, I can give them various stories, personalities. I hope that the meanings of my pictures are never too limited, are open in some way, each viewer can transform them into a personal aspect"
Happily for me, she is also very partial to Bears...
I would struggle to choose a favourite but if pushed I would go for the artworks below. For some reason I keep thinking of a Woodland Disco.
A bear on my bass bins?
Yes please!
