Do you ever go through phases of having a shop which just seems to sell everything you want? For me, at the moment, it's Zara.
Zara is usually massively hit or miss with me and I can go months without stepping foot in the shop. But lately their stock is really appealing to me.
Having secured the much desired leather sleeved coat, which I've worn so many times already, I've been popping in quite regularly to see if anything else is lurking that might be just perfect. Luckily, the sale is on and I have my eye on the checked version of the same coat, which I hope to snaffle next payday.
However, last week I was thrilled to scoop these amazing, vaguely pendelton style printed trousers. The cut is quite odd and could prove a bit challenging for some - not quite tight, not quite baggy - but when worn a size up, rolled hem and slightly low slung, they become flattering and easy to wear.
I chose, in this rare instance, to let one single print do the talking, so teamed it with a simple denim shirt and, as usual, the Burberry shoes, which just have the best shape of all my shoes and go with absolutely everything. I also decided it was the time to dig out the old Chloe Paddington from 2005/6.
This bag hasn't seen the light of day for many years, languishing in its box, unloved and unused, but I felt it was time for its resurrection. And I'm glad I did as I'd forgotten just how absolutely beautiful it is.
Now, I won't lie and say I won't be clashing these trousers with other prints, but I thought I'd save your eyes...for now.
