Since I am in desperate need of cheering up I decided to use some of the money sitting in my Paypal account, from sending the Clinic wedges to their deserving new home, by snapping up some Topshop Unique shoes from the AW09 collection.
When I saw them in the show I wanted them instantly but when they hit the stores I was, of course, unemployed so had to pass them up.
However, I nipped into town last week and spied them on the sale rack but when I went over and checked how much they were they were still full price. Luckily I asked the sales assistant, who was passing by, because she told me they were actually half price. So with some of the aforementioned Paypal money they could finally be mine. Happy shoe joy!
They also make me feel a bit Mad Max-y which can only be a good thing, right?
My only complaint is that they should have gone that bit further and made the silver heel of actual metal, but new shoes are new shoes so, really, I'm not complaining at all. All I need now is for the snow and ice to disappear so I can actually wear them.
