Last night my Prince and I attended the Yo!Sushi launch party in House of Fraser. I've never tried sushi so free sushi seemed like a good place to start. It was also, to my endless excitement, the first moment in our shared history where my Prince decided to "do fashion". Oh the deep, deep joy!
He ditched the usual baggy jeans and Adidas track top for the evening, raided my unisex garments and came away wearing All Saints drop crotch trousers, vintage checked blazer and clashing paisley tie, Horace t-shirt and his Full Circle shoes. With his newly grown out hair he looked rather dashing!
I wore my Black Milk Liquids (natch!), DIY leg chain, Christopher Kane for Topshop body suit over a Topshop jersey dress, LaRare shoes, vintage clutch from the Urban Collection and my feathered fringe headpiece. I initially had on my vintage sequin jacket from the Urban Collection but ended up changing into my white Jean Pierre Braganza jacket at the last minute.

I LOVE this feathered fringe so much. The people on Buchanan Street however did not with a fair few snide remarks being thrown my way about it as I walked to Frasers.
Yo!Sushi in Frasers is where the shoe department used to be and they have created a lovely, cheery, bright space. I must admit that the fast moving bowls of unknown food did scare me and I ended up not eating anything. A photographer took my photo and we both knew that it was awful - he smiled awkwardly and promptly escaped to take pictures of more photogenic people who weren't a waste of his battery power.
Our dear chum Harri provided the tunes so we bopped along happily to his set.
I also met the lovely Mary McGowne, founder of The Vine PR Company, organiser of this event as well as the Scottish Style Awards, and the one who kindly invited us. She was charrning, funny and made me feel very welcome indeed. And she has great rock 'n' roll hair and a marvelously furry jacket!
Sadly we had to leave pretty early to go and let the dogs out, lest we end up with a river of pee in the house. How rock 'n' roll - home by 8.30pm! (sorry Mary we didn't say cheerio but you were deep in conversation and we didn't want to interrupt).
Overall a fun wee night was had.
