Without doubt this has been a dog of a year!
But today is the day our American chums give thanks, so we should all stop for a minute and do just that.
I for one am thankful that the rain has stopped for longer than five minutes ( but probably not as thankful as poor Queen Michelle who has been walking the hounds in this unholy weather all week...)
