This season our friends over at Complex Geometries posed the question "could there be a future where leisure is eternal?" for their latest collection entitled Perpetual Leisure.
Well, as one who is currently jobless therefore experiencing a kind of perpetual leisure, let me answer the question. I would say there is a future providing it doesn't involve little snarky job centre people who seem to want everyone to work at Burger King. Take them out of the picture and there is definitely a future in leisure, especially if we all get to lounge around in soft, draped Complex Geometries pieces.
This season they have added some muted metallics and a beautiful shade of duck egg blue. The sheer leggings are also perfectly suited for loose silhouettes we know and love CG for. I can think of few better labels suited to lounging around in.

Enamored of all the unstructured drapey-ness.

I really like my CG tops, but I find myself wishing they would use something a bit more substantial than t-shirt material for the price. After a few gentle washes, you get those tiny pinprick holes everywhere.

Those looks are lounge-y, alright. I'd love that white top (second to last).

Ah! Was just about to wear my CG dress to work today, but it's too warm...these pieces are gorgeous! That last top is my fave...

I love the looser silhouette and the metallics of these looks. It seems that a lot of designers are replicating these loose jersey tee looks-- so it's nice to see this brand re-thinking their shapes.

Oh I love everything, it's so me! Don't know much about this label, is it pricey? (Usually along with extra leisure time comes limited funds!)

The pics are great but some of the new fabrics Clayton has been using are INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend finding the goodies in a local store and fondling them for a bit, they still have the classic jerseys, but there are now silks and all other sorts of lovely things (I sound like a stalker but I also carry this line in my boutique in Montreal and LOVE it!)

This gives me hope for a future in leisure.

I bought one of their dresses way back when. Not impressed. Shapeless (but cleverly styled in photos). Re-sold six months later.
