Today is the anniversary of the Queen Mums death 2 years ago. Yup, fireworks night - she went out with a bang!
I decided to honour her in a way she would have appreciated - cheekily. The Queen Mum had a wicked sense of humour and she swore like a sailor! Demure she wasn't. She also loved me in all my heavy metal splendour as a teenager, so it seems a fitting tribute to her to don my newly altered, ie hacked, 'Even Death Can Die' Obesity & Speed t-shirt.
If the Queen Mum had encountered the Grim Reaper that's exactly the sort of thing she would have said to him, "Even death can die, smart arse!".
The t-shirt is super cheesy. I'm not entirely sure it's actually meant to be cheesy but it makes me laugh anyway so I hope O&S mean it to be a playful poke at heavy metal.
Queen Michelle

I admire your way of expressing the feelings that are not easy to bring out.
the first and second photos are extremely beautiful!

Very odd - my mother passed away on the 4th of July, the "fireworks" day here in the US. And she was a cheeky lady as well.
I knew there was a reason I liked this blog!

There are some interesting effects that occur when hacking of the oversize 80's sweaters. The effect is....surprising....worth trying
