Renáta Koch, designer behind accessories label Renush, is a graduate in Footwear and Accessories from Cordwainers College at the London College of Fashion. She works primarily in leather but often adds textiles and crystals to her pieces to lend them a level of delicacy. It's quite hard to image prettified leather, which with the print combinations and subtle colours she uses she does manage it. I prefer the un-pretty pieces as they seem a lot less compromised.
These brown corset belts are very Alexander McQueen and beautifully sculpted, although in my opinion the styling isn't really doing them justice at all.
These have to be my favourite designs in her whole collection. The shoulder armour-like piece is utterly incredible.
She has very successfully prettified leather. In some instances, in my opinion, perhaps a little too much because in some pieces, which I haven't included, I am left wondering why she used leather at all when fabric might have worked better, but her designs overall represent a really good way of making leather more accessible.
