Renáta Koch, designer behind accessories label Renush, is a graduate in Footwear and Accessories from Cordwainers College at the London College of Fashion. She works primarily in leather but often adds textiles and crystals to her pieces to lend them a level of delicacy. It's quite hard to image prettified leather, which with the print combinations and subtle colours she uses she does manage it. I prefer the un-pretty pieces as they seem a lot less compromised.
These brown corset belts are very Alexander McQueen and beautifully sculpted, although in my opinion the styling isn't really doing them justice at all.
These have to be my favourite designs in her whole collection. The shoulder armour-like piece is utterly incredible.
She has very successfully prettified leather. In some instances, in my opinion, perhaps a little too much because in some pieces, which I haven't included, I am left wondering why she used leather at all when fabric might have worked better, but her designs overall represent a really good way of making leather more accessible.

i have mixed feelings about this one. I too agree about the styling, it is totally wrong for these belts and they could look so much better, especially texture wise.
And i would prefer to see the shoulder piece on a model than on a stand, because it looks really good and the stand doesn't help to bring out its colour.
Don't really like the second from the bottom necklace... :/
Girls i just discovered your blog and i fell totally in love with it!
Bravo!

I have to say, I love that you're so frank in this about what you think works and doesn't work in her collection (as I don't think I've seen that side very much over here). I certainly agree with you on much of what you said, but it's also kind of refreshing to see and I appreciate it. It's lovely to see a reputable blogger being critical and discerning of fashion.

i've never seen anything before like that half neck/half shoulder piece. it's an amazing design!

Yeah, those massive leather belts should've been paired with something lighter to show them off better...

oooh love this

I love these, I think they're gorgeous, I'd be interested in having some, but I find it extremely frustrating when there's no hint of how much something costs on an artist or designer's website. It gives me the whole "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" thing, and I just don't even bother following up.

OMG, are you kidding?! Fantastic!! You are seriously the Queen!

Wow, the shoulder piece really is gorgeous! Thanks for the tip on these. I agree that there dosen't seem to be a lot of coherence in the aesthetics overall, but there are some really nice things, and there certainly is potential! I thought the necklaces with leather covered beads on the website looked quite interesting, too. Any idea on the pricerange?

Oooh those belts are gorgeous... agree on the styling though... wearing them with a boob tube and jeans just seems a bit wrong!
