The more I think about it, the more I think maybe poor old TB is not to blame for the lack of glue holding his shoes together.
I think Chantal Biya, The First Lady of Cameroon, has had all the glue in the free world shipped over to the Cameroons to hold her hair up. How else could she explain these gravity defying edifices atop her head...
Now if you will excuse me, I'm off to do my hair. Pass me that glue gun...

OH MY GIDDY AUNT! I don't quite know what to say. My flabber is gasted. Goodness

This is so absurd, and she really means it.
Do you remember the 80's hype for laying-down or upside-down chairs at hairdresser salons, the new revolutionary way to get perfect layers and massive volumes?
She has one them chairs for sure, there is no other logical explanation.

Why would she be using glue and not hairspray??
Posted by: jade | Saturday, 04 July 2009 at 14:52
Jade, hairspray alone could never hold that amount of hair that high!

That's not hair, its fur! Doesn't she have a mirror? The woman is beautiful, and this monstrosity atop her head kills it all.

It deserves admiration, simply because I have never seen anything as big, and the fact that she manages to carry it around on her head deserves a round of applause. I wonder, does it affect getting through doorways?

it must weigh like 20 pounds
she must travel in a convertible
that's gotta be like 4 wigs all mashed togehter

Can't decide if it's cool, or if it looks like a dead animal. :P
Have you heard of the band Tokio Hotel/seen the lead singer's hair? I wrote a post about them here: http://jazz-kate.blogspot.com/2009/05/band-tokio-hotel.html
I think that Bill's hair is nearly as impressive as this woman's on his good days. :P

The higher the hair, the closer to God, darlings!

As a pro hair designer myself, I can't imagine letting someone step out like that, it's tragic.

It's screaming wig !
