My Alain Quilici boots/shoes arrived yesterday and I gotta say these puppies have beauty and function sewn up perfectly. The heel height/platform ratio makes for complete comfort as does the fact the heel is pleasingly thick and chunky.
Of course I couldn't wait to wear them today, especially after I discovered my precious camera has a developed a mysterious crack on the inside lense and so I needed something nice to look at to stop myself from screaming. So far only photo's taken in direct sunlight are affected but still, a broken camera is absolutely the last thing I need.
And thank you to my Prince for taking my photo this morning.
The top buckle is actually removable meaning you could switch things up, should you so desire, and replace it with some ribbon or even a thin silk scarf, or move the buckle so it sits at the front.
These shoes also feel really sturdy and well made with lovely pebbled leather. Overall, a very nice shoe.

Oh my! The shoes are amazing, but I can't take my eyes off of your sequinned jacket!!! Is that the River Island jacket you mentioned some time ago? It's STUNNING!

Those shoes looked a bit too functional for my tastes sat on the box, but as soon as they are on your royal feet *WHAM* they are suddenly stunning!

Ari, they came from Luisaviaroma.
Brigadeiro, it is indeed the RI jacket.
Carl, that is the magic of these shoes! Yup, they look quite dull in photo's but when they are on they look so different.

Omg, they are amazing!

Nice!
This sort of a leather lasts ages, I have a 3 year old pair of covered platform boots in worse quality, and still they look like new
(which is not always good)!
Very good choice.
