After much faffing about with credit card credit I finally discovered a pair of shoes which I think will be an ideal replacement for the T***an B***r wedges.
These Alain Quilici shoes from Luisaviaroma have a nice chunky heel and aren't too high therefore perfect for general stomping around.
The buckle detail, the textured leather and the platform detail makes this an almost perfect little shoe. It's functional yet funky.
A bit of a nosey around to find out more about the designer I discovered that his website was still under construction, but Public Image PR provided some insightful information as well as images of more of his designs.
Clearly Alain likes his footwear a bit sculptural without compromising practicality. Let's just hope these stay in one piece!

You don't want me to have a holiday do you?? LOL! Love those nude wedge boots they remind me of rocks and ledges (like the kind they use for rock climbing), and look comfy too. The others are fab shapes too!

I like the gray lace up, not even so much for heel detail, but more for the prefect shape.
This is a sort of shoe I wear on daily basis. And other 70+ pairs...

The nude wedges remind me of those new Margiela boots, minus the wood grain effect and the insane price tag. Must investigate!

HI QUEEN MICHELLE
HIHIHIHIHI
sorry if i'm creeping you out LOL
anyway, i was looking through the category 'One Two Buckle My Shoe' (because i have a super-lust for shoes - ugly, expensive ones too) and i suddenly realised something...
how on earth do you organise your shoes?!?!?
from what i've seen, you have about a billion gorgeous shoes. i have lots of shoes too - but they're fricking lame.
my shitty organisation skills = shoes everywhere = pain in the ass. and obviously, the shoe makes the outfit (most of the time) and like, your outfits are so damn hot (and cool. and stylish DAMMIT I WANT YOUR WARDROBE+SUPER COOL STYLING SKILLS ARGHHH -cough-).
so, would you be so kind as to dedicate a post to some shoe organisation skills with your humble followers? pretty please? -think huge puppy dog eyes-
