In 2 weeks when I am finished up working and back to the dole queue it'll also be back to cheap as chips shopping. Generally speaking I'd rather have a wee cheap something than absolutely nothing at all and that's where Primark always comes in. It's cheap enough that I am happy to take my scissors to anything I buy from there without cringing in fear of ruining it. If I really like something I will reinforce the existing stitching so it lasts longer.
Looking at the latest Primark lookbook I have to admit there are some really nice pieces in there. Whilst I myself might not necessarily buy them I can see they have lots of potential for other people. But I do know for a fact that Queen Marie will be wanting to get her mitts on the black sequin parka.
I could be convinced to buy the printed dress as it's crying out for an oversized zip up the front, so DIY potential right there. Or buy it a size or two too large and make the skirt part more sculpted with the addition of well placed darts.

ARRRgh! CRIMPED HAIR! I can't stand crimped hair, it upsets me very much. Still, I like those mad pointy shoulders on the print dress, and who doesn't need a sequinned parka? Not bad, indeed x

If you hadn't said it was Primark, I would honestly never have guessed. I love the pointy shoulders too! Who would have thought it...Primark does Balmain!!!

Hi!
I came across your blog about the TS thigh high boots and I love how they look on you. I'm thinking of getting a pair but I'm not sure about what size to get. I wear 6 or 36 to 36.5 normally but I'd rather have the boots fit tight over the leg and thigh. What size do you normally wear and what size did you get for the boots.
Thanks in advance!

Wow!! loving that sequin parka (debating whether to buy the purple sophia hulme one from revolve....but black would be sooo much better)
does anyone know if primark sells online, or when this jacket will be released?

Call me weird Louise but I actually love crimped hair and have actually recently purchased a heavy duty crimper to produce candy floss hair!

I need to stop by Primark when I'm in London again. Really surprising! Even though Topshop is in New York now, it's still a touch more expensive than I would like.

Well, Natty, different strokes for different folks! And I very much approve of candyfloss...

Not sure when these pieces are due in. I think with the Primark the key is to keep checking regularly. Hope everyone gets what they want!
Natalie I am a size 5 and that's what I bought and they fit me perfectly. They are loose on the leg but I have quite slim legs. They still look good loose though.

Holy crap, I don't think I've ever been as chuffed to be in England as I am after seeing the new lookbook. Sequin parka? Awesome. I think I just ruined the man's game of football with all my WOWing (playstation game that is... my voice doesn't carry THAT far).

Is that Primark??
We have ONE store in Holland in Rotterdam and I have been there yesterday. It wasn't much interesting, just some basic buys. But if those clothes are also in Rotterdam in a while I will go back for certain!!!

Sacre bleu! Primark? Really! Wonder what they're like close-up. Love the sequinned parka, dress, and pink top...Wonder if my sisters could track 'em down for me. :)

Ooooh the sequinned leggings look tempting, I hope I can find them in my local store. The dresses there never fit me, but the leggings are a dream.
