Kristina Schâuble recently graduated from the Danish Design institute of TEKO with BA hons and she very kindly shared her collection with me. So I am sharing it with you.
The first thing that struck me was her presentation of her work in this set of images - they evoke a real sense of the personality within the collection which seems quite dark, aided by the well considered makeup on the model.
Dripping, draped jersey flows over the body like paint.
Kristina has also explored velvet, which I think is long overdue a revival, by creating these incredible volumous trousers offset with the a simple white tank. Hoods and volume both play a major role in a neutral palette of black, white, grey and oatmeal.
For autum/winter my main objective is to find interesting jersey peices which can be layered to create strange visual effects by playing with assymetry, ruching and, of course, draping. In my head I have on all these layers and amongst them there are little pops of print. What kind of print is, as yet, undecided but something graphic or floral, maybe galactic if I succumb to it.

I am loving the draping and colours of these pieces! Will they be available for sale anywhere??

OHHHH my heart just skipped a beat. These are beautiful....and the first set of images could be framed in their own right.
I've seen quite a lot of velvet on the catwalks recently (can't remember the designers tho), so if you keep your ear to the ground you are sure to hear more from our friend Ms.Velvet!

OMG, these are amazing. I'm a huge fan of a drapped jersey.
The only bad impression is that the girl in a first few pictures reminds me of Lady Gaga, that's really euuu! :D

Hate the model too much to get past that.
