Having pretty much kept my Vice & Vanity necklace on constantly since I got it, it was going to be hard to make me look at other fabulous neckpieces without stroking my V&V and saying, "I will never take you off. You are my favourite. All others pale by comparison".
But when I recieved an email about Plastique collars, designed by Raoul Gilioli, I admit that I did stop stroking the V&V to ooh and ahh over these molded resin collars and cuffs.
Availabe from Ion Jewellery, these are so simple but perfectly futuristic. There is also an agenda which list cools shops and things to do in major cities. It includes very helpful undergrounds maps for London, Paris, Milan and Berlin and also has a list of "cutting edge blogs" to visit.

congratulations on being cutting edge!
These are amazing - I would like to wear the neon orange one with white lace for a victorian/space adventure

Very interesting! Reminds me of a piece my aunt gave me when I was about 14. She used to work in an upscale department store in the jewelry department and would give me the best gifts! Being the green-eyed monster I am, I'm kvelling over you know which colour!

Very beautiful. The mind reels at all the different ways one of those could be worn. How des it go on -- is it flexibl?

Style Spy I think they must be pretty flexible as I can't imagine how else they would go on.
Sal they are only 60euros, so not that expensive at all!

I kind of think the photography of these is better than the actual item. Have to wait and see what they look like when they hit bloggers wardrobes.

Yummy.
Can't decide between the black and the tangerine.
Do they come in different sizes and shapes I wonder, as there seems to be big difference in the gaps between the ends.

My friend did a lot with this material and his comment was that the gaps are different as each piece is shaped individually, which also means these are produced in small serials. And the material in this thickness is flexible just enough for neck to go through(he made belts).

I'm always hoping future fashion will become a major trend. Wouldn't that be awesome? It's always around but it's never really out on the streets.

Man, the lookbook is awesome! I would love to rock out one of these babies, although I think a cuff would definitely be easiest. One on each wrist, perhaps? Hello, Wonder Woman!

I'm in love, I just don't know which one to pick. I automatically go to black. Hmmmnn, do they have clear as an option?
