My love for the more unusual legwear is, by now, quite obvious I'm sure. I feel that because I wear quite alot of plain stuff like, um, t-shirts, what I wear on my bottom half I like to have a bit of drama.
The lovely girls and boys at Pixie Market and Stolen Girlfriends Club have also noticed my penchant for lovely leg stuff because last week the postman came baring a very, very, very special gift indeed: Stolen Girlfriends Club strappy bandage leggings. These sold out uber quickly and I missed them, so this was a package from heaven.
Never has there been a more perfectly bandaged pair of leggings. These are utterly spectacular. They mean I will be able to have some semblance of bare legs, should Scotland ever experience summer, without actually having to expose my pasty pins to the public. A perfect addition to my 'summer' wardrobe.
I love that they came with a velvet heart which says Pretty Vacant complete with kilt pin for attaching it to whatever you feel like, and an envelope which says "A song for you". The song is called Elegantly Wasted, complete with lyrics, although it's their own song not the INXS version. If only I could read music, or indeed play an instrument (sadly decks and records don't count) I could sing the song! Er, maybe not - my singing voice is not fit for hearing.
Complex Geometries dress worn as top; Pied a Terre shoes/Ravel shoes; Untamed Menagerie necklace; DIY chain necklace; Astley Clarke earring worn on necklace
Vintage orange jacket; peach Topshop t-shirt; grey t-shirt; Pied a Terre shoes
Obviously, layering them over all manner of coloured and patterned tights will produce some great results too. I can't wait to get experimenting properly!
Thank you Pixies and SGC!
