As much as I love my Lick My Legs dress, I am conversely also loving Montreal based designer Valerie Dumaine, who creates wonderfully pretty, girly things, which I'm sure even the most demure among you would approve of.
I personally would be tempted to toughen up the pieces a little bit by combining them with things that are the opposite, but I'm contrary like that. Valerie's designs work equally well, probably even better, with sensible flat shoes and tidy ponytails...if you are so inclined to tread that particular path.
I have mentioned her before, but her lookbook for her latest collection was too good not mention her again.
Sailor shorts, loose rompers, bubble hems, cropped jacket and loose trousers - all perfect for our, probably very short-lived, sunny spring weather we are having in the Kingdom. I am especially drawn to the grey jersey dress with sequin details.
These clothes make me smile. I am happy with my little lot in life today and looking at these makes me feel like I want to don a floppy hat, come over all 70's and get myself to the nearest meadow.

Sal, I have to say that I like that you are very open minded to everything. You seem to give everything a chance. That's a nice quality.

not entirely relevant, but the 'model' is canadian actor liane balaban.
right now she's in some film w/dustin hoffman but her debut film (i think) 'new waterford girl' is HIGHLY amusing & you queen michelle, would probably get a kick out of it.
