As I mentioned, I thought The East End Thrift Store was incredible. The shop is crammed full of so many amazing things it was hard to narrow it down. But narrow it down I had to since whatever I bought on Monday was going to have to be hand luggage, carted around whilst we shopped.
I bought a lovely wee skirt, which I will show you next week, but the real scoop was this genuine band jacket. I have a terrible weakness for military and band jackets, so I couldn't pass up this perfectly fitting bright blue one with brass buttons. Pass me my trumpet!
I have this kinda slutty bandage dress which is made less slutty with the addition of a navy American Apparel skirt on top and, of course, the jacket - I now hopefully look less like a scrawny crack ho!
The shop actually had a whole rail of various band jackets! And a rail of tweed skirts, a rail of leather skirts, a rail of denim shorts, a rail of 80's sweaters...you name it, they had a rail for it! I can't wait to go back again and have a proper, lenghty rummage. Oh my dear Prince I pity you!!!
