Gloria Coelho Outed By Outsapop
Whilst looking through the wonderful Outsapop Trashion, I came across a designer I'd never heard of before called Gloria Coelho. A brazilian designer, her latest collection is everything I want to be wearing right now.
Oodles of ruffles made of various fabrics, layered upon even more ruffles.
Of course the neck ruffles are drawing me like a moth to a flame, fueled further by the fact I just recently got round to watching The Other Boleyn Girl and was in love with the costumes (and I cried at the end - a rare thing for me indeed!) and I now also really want one of Wendy Brandes' 'B' necklaces.
The prints are also appealing to me as they look like different coloured inks in water. I actually recently saw a vintage dress made of a similar print in shades of blue which I may need to purchase now.
Perhaps Outsapop herself will venture into the creation of fabuloulsly frothy neck pieces, which would compliment the dress beautifully.

Gloria Coelho is a very important Brazilian designer, she's been in fashion for years well before Alexandre Herchcovitch. I'm glad you have discovered her.

garment #7 & #8 are just heavenly! they look like folded paper-- its just fantastic! and I agree about the prints as well-- they remind me of the pretty colors that you get whenever you wash paint brushes.. (well, given that you used nice colors.. hehe)
thanks for the designer intro! ;-)

That silver dress is magnificent ... and I see what you mean about the neck ruffles. So enticing.

I certainly think a Boleyn necklace would complement ruffles nicely! :-D
The "M" is very nice!

Heh, i cried at the end of that movie too. My boyfriend, who was watching it with me, thought i was ridiculous - "Didn't you already know what would happen?" he demanded. Clearly he doesn't understand.
