It's pissing of rain today, like, seriously chucking it down. I hate the rain with a raging passion but today I decided it was absolutely not going to mess with my fashion mojo, because since it's rare for me to venture out the house to do anything but go to the Supermarket these days, I was determined to wear one of two amazing dresses that arrived from the Urban Collection yesterday.
Both look completely 60's/70's and the one I chose to wear today, after some minor alterations, is making me feel a bit like Corie Bratter in Barefoot In The Park, but with louder tights.
So to traipse to the bank (exciting I know) I wore it with my Chloe shoes, Bally wool coat, vintage bag and gloves and Celeste Stein paisley pattern tights...and an umbrella. I also dug out a perfume I haven't worn in ages, Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet.
Of course now I completely regret wearing the shoes since they look kinda wrecked now, and to make matters worse I need to go back out to buy milk. Not feeling so much like Corie anymore. Oh well, it was good whilst it lasted.
