A few weeks ago I had £17 to spare. Not a great deal of money but it was all I had to 'throw around'. I hummed and hawed as to what to spent it on and decided I would attempt to create a black version of my green PVC leggings, since these have been incredibly useful to me and I love them dearly (infuriatingly I accidentally scratched them on Sunday morning when I got home whilst I was taking them off, and they have a hole in them). Anyway, I went and bought some black PVC but couldn't find the same type of PVC as the green ones were made of so settled for something I thought felt quite similar. Long story short, the PVC was hellish to work with and I made a complete and utter roaring arse of it and had to chuck it all in the bin. I literally threw away my last £17. I was devastated.
My Prince being as gallant as he is offered to buy me a pair of PVC leggings. Bless him. I settled on the Sass & Bide Black Rats. I wasn't keen on them until I saw them in shiny PVC. They have arrived and I absolutely adore them.
I really don't know where I would be without my Prince coming to my sartorial rescue every so often. My leggings are slightly bitter sweet though as he was paying for them with some money he was getting from a DJ gig he did on Saturday, only to end up being ripped off. Of course he won't let me return them so I shall wear them and love them all the more.

He sounds like a great guy. When working with those kinds of fabrics it can help to use a teflon foot on the machine. That's what you would use for leather, so it glides more easily. Maybe it's called something else there.

Doesn't Sister Wolf have a pair of Black Rats? I seem to remember she hated hers but maybe they have grown on her (let's hope not literally).
I like the texture of the stitching. I hope your Prince didn't pay full price because leggings are crazy on sale right now. Yesterday at Intermix I bought a pair of Les Chiffoniers PVC leggings for about $120. Saks and Neimans are full of stiff marked 50% off anf then another 50% off that. Apolcalypse is in the air, every time I buy something I feel like I'm fiddling while Rome burns.

Bluehammer if I could have had the PVC Les Chiffoniers I would have much preferred them but they aren't on sale anywhere in the UK sadly. He did pay full price for these. I went to Intermix online to see if they had the Les Chiffioniers but sadly no.

Oh boy are those sweet! I saw the non-PVC version on NaP and I couldn't decide whether I thought them cheap-looking or amazing. Of course, seeing this I say that they are indeed amazing. You wear them so well!
