Job Shop Style #4
Today I decided to be a bit shiny for the Job Centre. Opting for my PVC leggings from charity shop, Topshop shoes, All Saints skirt and biker jacket, Onno top (customised and re-draped), vintage blouse worn underneath, a vintage broach Queen Marie bought me one birthday, Marc Jacobs sunglasses (I look very tired!) and an old hand-made coin belt. I have also decided to carry my fabulous Keira Thorley clutch. Just the right size for my signing on card, and it takes getting dressed for the Job Shop to new ridiculous levels!
My coin belt was killed for me thanks to a certain Sienna Miller and I couldn't look at it again for years after. But I am taking back the coin belt. I'm owning it!
I am wearing another favourite scent, Bulgari Blu Notte, which is terrifically masculine.
And the lightening in my close this morning was gorgeous even though it is quite dull outside.
Queen Michelle

Absolutely gorgeous! Love it! How often do you have to go to the Job Centre? You must stun everyone around you with your amazing outfits! ;)

again, you have outdone yourself. I especially like the outfit with the jacket on. you are truly an inspiration.:)
p.s. I haven't read all your posts so I'm not sure, but, is Queen Marie your sister?

Brigadeiro, no-one really pays too much attention since I sign on very early, so most people are still asleep! I go every 2 weeks now I have filled out all the forms, and no more Council Tax visits thankfully.
No, Queen Marie is not my sister. We have been friends for many years though.

you look so cool, like a post modern victorian superhero. love it.

You are so waaaaaaaaaaaay beyond the certain S.M., it could never occur to anyone you'd copied the coin belt or indeed anything else, ever! Also, I have a hard time finding perfumes I like, although when I do I love perfume; I think I'm going to try out your recommendations, maybe I'll be inspired. Cheers!

this is really beautiful.
I feel you on the coin belt. I hate when people pick up on something you've been wearing for years. for me this was my hunter wellington boots and rayban wayfarers. I have pictures of me back in 2003 wearing those things! grr.

Haha, take that Sienna! The coin belt is all Queen Michelle's, teamed with ace leggings too!

Hi there!
I've seen you post with this hairstyle before.
I've been wearing variations myself and wonder if you'd be able to share how you put in your plaits and how you pin them up.
Great look BTW!

This look is so inspirational, there are so many things to take from this outfit. The drapery, the mix of romantic and contemporary, the gorgeous mix of earth tones... I'm actually blown away, keep it up!

Please believe my words when I say that you are my real life style idol! Although I am a far cry from your stylish coolness and do not even look the slightest closely to the greatness you do, your closet would be the first I wished to raid and declare mine and from that moment on there would be nothing more to wish for (for a few months, at least, you know how volatile the consumer's heart is).

I LOVE how you are brave enough to dress like this for the Job Centre! I would never have the guts! Also I'm envious of your pvc pants, I have been after some exactly like that for about two years, lucky you!
