If like your Queens, you are a bit lacking in liquidity i.e. skint, then you know that if you want to stay shopping, you are going to have to shop smarter.
That means casting your shopping net as wide as you can.
Gilt Groupe is . was founded by longtime friends and fashion devotees, Alexis and Alexandra.
They say-" we founded Gilt Groupe to offer our members online access to the best and brightest in luxury brands, for a fraction of the price. We scour the market and hand select pieces from sought after designers like Zac Posen and Valentino . Weekly updates feature highlights from upcoming sales."
It is a members only site but thanks to the lovely Lisa, she has created a link for us all.
www.gilt.com/thekingdom should be all you need to get started.
Now if you will excuse me, I am off for a prowl around.

I've been accepted by Gilt Group sometime ago. But I wonder are the sales only in New York? How about international shoppers - do they ship the items worldwide?

Sadly they only ship to the U.S. Drat.

I'm so sad I cannot do it since I live in Europe. It's rather depressing, but I gather I will find another way to do just the same.

I love Gilt! I've been a member for a few months now and have scored many cute things! The best:
- a trompe l'oeil silk Cacharel top
- a Sari Gueron cape that used to be over a grand for like $250 (gift for my mom)
Too bad I missed out on those Made Her Think cuffs. Love them!

I haven't been to Gilt in a while but I have gotten some cute stuff from them before. Lately, I've been hooked on hautelook.com. I just got something from their Decades Two sale and from Ella Moss. They have a DVF sale today! I have seen Sarah Jessica Parker in a lot of her dresses.
