A photograph never lies...
Or does it???
You would need to have been living under a rock to not realise the massive impact photoshop and digital imaging have had on the images we are presented with every day.
Looking at this cover of Grazia, highlighting Victoria Bechams diminshing frame , a supposed reaction to events in her marriage, no one could deny that she looks tiny and frail...
But when you look closer at the image, you will be in for a surprise. Her jawline and her hand have been photoshopped making her look even thinner...
Now doubtless Grazia could say that they were just 'tidying up the shot' but come on kids, you could see that clipping path from outer space!!!
It is always worth remembering, that everything is not as it may first appear.
Now if you will excuse me, I'm off to phone the Grazia picture desk and see if they can photoshop 6 inches off my arse...
Queen Marie

ahahah, wow, they could have at least done it well! Very poorly done ! Anyway now everything is "photoshoped", I use to do it for travel guides :)!

& the thing is, she's always been tiny to the point of concern--much more so than when the Spice Girls first got famous. What folks will do to sell more issues...

but, if they have photoshoped her to look tiny, why didn't they fix her neck? it looks a tad old and wrinkly.

An average size Victoria just won't sell magazines I am afraid.
Grazia have her on their cover every other week with a made up story

This is so true. The photos they have of V.B. and Cheryl Cole and any bloody person they want to look thin are narrowed down and cut to an inch of its life!!! This is bloody hilarious though!
Now now Grazia, next time try to photoshop the COVER picture slightly better!
Thanks Queen Marie!

I'm not against Photoshop, but why must it be so poorly done?
Even US Vogue covers are really obvious, with clipping paths and blurred edges!

Shock and horror!!! That's terrible!

i much prefer spotting subtle photoshop erros, like a mango catalogue in which penelope cruz's perfected petite ski slope nose was casting a large convex nose shaped shadow on her face! but infairness they werent that subtle they gave her a nose even michael jackson would have said was ott...
also, not related but i was just wondering does any other country get image magazine??

I don't know why such big companies ignore such things that can later affect their standard.
