Sometimes you'll find someone who does something that leaves you saying to yourself "why didn't I think of that?". With my love of oversized neckpieces you'd have thought I'd be all over wearing christmas tree baubles round my neck like this young fellow spotted on Facehunter. Genius! The options are unlimited. Especially as many tree decorations aren't particularly Christmassy. I imagine weaving lots of obscure looking little baubles into some kind of multi strand necklace.
Queen Marie and I do like to go to BHS and Asda to procure our baubles as both stores have a great selection of interesting shapes and colours. We also head to Accessorize for more expensive but real cute little decorations. Thank you random young man for the inspiration!

My son has three of these things in his room...you get them from funfairs. You press the button on the bottom, and they spin around really fast with flashing lights.
I really like this dude's jacket. Bin bag chic!

Haha, ironically enough, guess who just DIY'ed a necklace?
I bought an oversize silver glitter 3D bow (for trees) from a really cheap store, removed the bit to hang the ornament, covered the entire bow in clear nail varnish (to avoid ending up looking like a glitterstrophy...har har), ran a thin silver chain through it et voila! It's pretty funky because it stands out in a good way, and is the easiest DIY ever! I'll have to post it on my blog!

Oh, that is a good idea! Cool, and not too Xmasy.

That looks like the Ann Demeulemeester coin-purse...

Poor sod wasted his money then because it sure looks like a bauble!

That is such a good idea, you should do a really extreme version!

I probably should confirm that my son does not have three Ann Demeulemeester coin-purses in his room. He is only 8, gets £2 pocket money a week, and carries it in a bart simpson wallet.
