Leggings Fit For A Queen

I don't think I have ever been the inspiration for someone to create something. I realise I may prompt some of you to try my DIY efforts, but not to be an actual inspiration. Imagine then how gob smacked I was to discover that the lovely Angie Montreal had designed a range of luxe leggings which were inspired by me!!! I couldn't believe it. Not only that, but they are absolutely stunning and I'd wear every single pair.

Even more surprising was that she had secretly gotten my address from Queen Marie so she could send me some in the post. They arrived yesterday and I couldn't have dreamed of nicer, more perfect leggings.

These ones are simply stunning. They are like velvet devoré in the nicest colour of cornflower blue on a nude mesh base. Only at the weekend I was lamenting the fact I could never find leggings that were long enough to be able to bunch them up at the ankle, and like an angel Angie sends me them - the perfect length!

I teamed them with a black/gold jersey dress I made with material left over from a DIY project I worked on at the weekend (you'll see the results next week), Elizaveta necklace, vintage bag, M&S belt and Carvela boots.

These ones are the most incredible black lace with sequins all over! Hello!!! How gorgeous and again the most perfect length and fit. I wore them with my Topshop Unique dress, vintage faux fur bolero, Keerstin Wintrup leather snake belt and Carvela boots.

Gah! I seem to spend so much of my time being jealous of other bloggers lately. Those lace leggings are so perfect. I have a bag like that in black leather. I got it for a pound at a car boot sale in Cornwall (don't ask...) The lady who sold it to me, put a penny in it for luck. I do love small town folk.

They are amazing leggings too, I wish she had more of the black ones in stock - I also lament the lack of length on most of the leggings out there, these look like a great length and the sequins add sparkle but don't overwhelm the pattern of the lace, beautiful!
