Fantasy Trapeze Dress
Like everyone else I sometimes partake in fantasy shopping where you, in your head, have endless pits of money and are able to buy the most divine of all clothes. Generally a useless and harmless endevour, fantasy shopping lets you disappear in an imaginary life where you clearly don't have to worry about such mundane things as paying bills. Even Royalty have gas bills to pay!
I must confess through that even in my fantasy head I'm am still quite practical. I suppose in some level I like to think that I could, if I saved really hard, actually own the things on my list, so £20,000 couture gowns never appear for me.
Hannah Marshall's stunning black trapeze dress from her VoID collection is one of those fantasy items for me. Multi layers that look like Mille-feuille pastry.
The problem is in terms of my sensible fantasy shopping list, this dress actually seems quite reasonably priced and do-able now that it's on sale for £648 at My Wardrobe.
OK, maybe it's still fantasy since I don't have a spare £648 lying around, but if I did have a job I would seriously consider investing in it as it's a shape that won't ever date and it could just as easily be worn on a day to day basis as for a special night out.
I can imagine it worn with a leather harness over the top to make it less frou fou. Hopefully someone who is gainfully employed will snap it up as £648 for this amount of work really is a great bargain.

Ooh, I do adore that dress. Not for Aus $1400 (or whatever that equates to) though!
p.s. I'm a long time blog lurker, and thought it time to come out of the woodwork. Love the blog!

It is lovely, but even if I was rich I wouldn't buy it. It's a bit too short for me, but on you I think it would be amazing!

wow that is gorgeous, although i fear (not having model proportions) it would look like a maternity dress on me!!

This dress could be a lot easier to make than you think, using a base as a t-shirt and let the layers over take you.
:)pretty as pie

Online window shopping is the best! But one must be careful not to let this lead to impulse buys like I did yesterday... oh well I don't regret it.
