Benefits Of Fringe
For some time now, I have been lusting after a black fringed skirt. It has led me to buying lots of fringing to sew onto anything that isn't fast enough to escape me and my needle!
Seeing an Ann D black fringed skirt in an editorial in 10 has made it even worse, especially since I can't find one for love nor money. However in order to appease myself I made use of some black fringing I had by turning it into a necklace.
Simple, cheap and will hopefully satisfy my fringe needs until such time as I come across the perfect fringed skirt.Queen Michelle

hmm, could you not take a plain black skirt and sew lines of fringe on it? or ask somebody handy with a sewing machine to do it for you? (i'd be willing, except that i'm doing exams right now, until may 22nd :) )

oh yes... this is a great idea! how did you find such a long fringe? do they carry them at any ol' haberdashery shoppe?
it does remind me a bit of the reality studio headband too! which is equally as sweet.

Sister Wolf, you are forgiven my child.
It is my job to give a Royal home to all the ugly clothes out there, and I totally would have given that skirt in navy a home too, had it not been for the silly price they want for it. $250? they're 'avin' a laugh aren't they?!
Lady Coveted, I did indeed get it from a haberdashers but most only carry the shorter version, I had to get this from a special one.
Stella-Mayfair, thanks for the tip - I have added it to my Watch List on eBay xx

Looks good! An inspiration to make a fringed beaded necklace (I make jewelry). I just have to find the patience (not exactly my forte) for lots of beading with a very small beads...
