Another Dream Dashed!

Damn my stupid body! My Chelsea Rebelle Soldier pants finally arrived today and they don't fit! They are too baggy on the legs and too tights on the hips. I am completely devastated, however Queen Marie will delighted since she immediately exclaimed on seeing the post about them: "They look like Mikey Mouse pants!!!". Well, Mickey Mouse can have them back because they sure don't fit me.

For those who's body is perhaps a better shape than mine, they look like they'd be amazing on. They will reach right up to under the chest and the blue is a beautiful shade of cornflower. The wool is very light so they won't be too hot. I shall be returning mine and hopefully someone else will rock them.

I have the same problem with pants...sigh, I commiserate.

I'LL TAKE THEM! Those pants are quite simply amazing.

Why don't you get them tailored??

I hate this, when I have so strong desire for a special item and it's bad when it arrives at home. Perhaps there'll be some new trousers at another shop.

Clearly the trousers are deformed! As you have already established, your thighs are the same width as a tub of mini oreos so what weird hip/thigh ratio do you need to have for the trousers to fit right?

I need the deformed trousers to be wider at the hip, have slimmer legs, longer area from crotch to waist and a smaller waist! Hmmm, maybe it IS me who's deformed and not the trews!!!

i read somewhere on the internet that most clothes don't fit most women.

i don't exactly know what that means but i hope it makes you feel better...
;)

I'm sorry these didn't work out. Fabulous in theory, freaky in practice, I guess.

I am secretly (not so secret now) relieved. I really didn't like them and feared that the proportions would make you look oddly squashed from the armpits up. I was holding back on saying so thinking I might be disproved.

But if you need them to be "wider at the hip, have slimmer legs, longer area from crotch to waist and a smaller waist" - doesn't that mean they would fit someone with:

- fatter legs
- no hips and a wide waist (i.e no shape in he middle)
- and a short torso??

Sounds to me like the trews are the issue and not you!

They're beautiful trousers, but I honesty can't imagine who they'd flatter, if the hips were tight on you, Queen Michelle!
