That said, it must cost Mariah Carey a freakin' fortune to look this bad!
She has a new album out this week called E=MC2 , which is predicted to go straight to the top of the billboard charts (I laughed out loud typing that for some reason!) so as a result she is everywhere you turn.

Here she is at a signing, dressed head to toe in Primark!

Mariah makes me laugh. It is almost as though she has had a double good taste and style bypass. With Ms Carey it's all about the trailerpark!
Even Paris Match has ended up looking like a catalogue spread...

As for the album title - genius just genius!
Albert Einstein must be turning in his grave...

i was just talking abt mariah to my bf the other day. She's so rich, and her wardrobe is ridiculously huge but her sense of style is so tacky. I wonder where she shops! Lol. I saw her wardrobe on MTV cribs and its AMAZING, but its weird that what she wears out doesn't reflect that.

Yes, I agree QM. All of these look are quite dreadful. I do wonder if there is a 'stylist' lurking behind to blame and perhaps Mariah is as uncomfortable in these as she looks. Nah, scratch that, I'm sure if there was a stylist putting forth these looks they would be ex-communicated from their own community. I guess the best you can hope for is that it makes her happy, as it certainly isn't doing much for the rest of us.

here's the thing i love about mariah, mariah is always going to be mariah. a stylist can dress her, but she always goes right back to being mariah. and u know what, i dont mind the way she dresses because she is an amazing singer. and i wish i had her penthouse or at least just the closet. Mariah was born on Long Island. That pretty much says it all. I wish I knew Scotland better so I could point to an equivalent but Long Island isn't really known for being a tasteful place.

meaning that emancipation her last album has now = to her giving more of her self into this new album.. as she said in her MTV interview..
