You would need to have memorized every word of Queen Michelles 'How to walk in Heel's post and even then there would be no guarantee that you could handle these suckers...
These are the heeless shoes by Antonio Berardi.
£1800 and 5 and half inches high.
Berardi said he had been inspired by Latin American music and 1980s post-modernism - "When you walk, it is almost on tiptoe. You look really dainty."
A spokesman for his Paris-based fashion house said: "The shoe has a bigger platform sole which stretches back further than normal and gives support under the arch of the foot.
"When walking though, you have to put your toe rather than your heel down first and you cannot wear them for very long. "They are not dangerous because you would have to lean quite far back before you fell over."
If you have more money than sense, you can order them at Browns.
Me? I think I'll just walk on by...
Queen Marie

They just look so strange, you do a comedy double-take when looking at them!

These shoes make the models' legs/feet look like horses' legs/hooves. Same mechanics, sort of. Really surreal, and at £1800, that's quite a dear brand of surreal! Still, I can't look away.

As much as I like unconventional footwear -absolutely hate them. They just look stupid.. I'd like to see the designer walk in them for a bit. "Walk on tiptoes", my ass (or arse, as you say in Britain). I always suspect that this type of "fashion" is designed by some women-hater, who is thinking "let's see if these bitches will fall for it", and then has a good laugh with his friends over martinis, bellinis, appletinis or some other -inis, at the expense of the women who did.

I saw these in a magazine and I thought: "These are just some wacky shoes they cooked up for the photo shoot...these can't possibly be worn-or even really exist."
Whoops!

Dear Antonio Berardi, well done!!! You are a genius!!!
You could create magnificent and fashionable shoes for 21-th century!
And if it is possible to change slightly one detail it would be fit for even running without any harm for nice women feet.
Please look at my web site http://www.nicefoot.ucoz.ru. At the background you can find the answer. And of course I’ll render assist you if necessary.
Sincerely yours.

LOL @ Jessica. Your woman-hater theory cracks me up. I actually like the look of these shoes (the fact that they're heel-less, not necessarily that they're platformed (horse feet) and covered in ugly sequins/snakeskin?) Very modern, scifi-ish. However, even as a veteran high-heel wearer I would not go near these shoes. Way too hazardous.

Well they are innovative! I think if i saw them walking toward me down a street i would oooo and ahhhhhhh but then when i saw the missing part i would look away suddenly or feel pity like if i saw a dog without a leg.
