Hey Sexy Legs
So many good things come out of Scotland seem to fly quite low under the radar. Perhaps it's just the Scottish way to not shout your talents from the rooftop, but whatever the reason it means many of our talented graduates are eclipsed by their Central St Martins cousins. I intend, time allowing, to try and share more Scottish talent here, unearthing some real gems to share with the world.
To begin with let me show you the wonderful hosiery label Bebaroque, which started in July 2007 by Mhairi McNicol and Chloe Patience. Both girls attended Glasgow School of Art in 2005 before going their seperate ways, only to join together to create these fabulous tights.
The tights are designed and manufactured in Scotland using hand embroidery and print. They remind me of a much more skillful version of the doodles I used to do on my own tights with a permanent marker when I was a teenager.
The black and blue ones above are simply beyond stunning. They take leg adornment to a whole new level, with their beautiful embellishment and hand finished details. I am going to get me to CheCamille, post LFW, to see if I can snap some up. Infact, pennies allowing, I might just get me some before then as these would be divine for traipsing around London in.

Wow these are beautiful! The clotheshorse did a DIY project which were quiet similar to the peacock feathers by drawing on a pair of tights. But I love the fact that these have jewels and everything. Fabulous! :)

How gorgeous! Sadly all of their designs go right up the leg and I'm a knee length skirt wearer - some things are better left to the imagination! - I'm very tempted by them nonetheless, they are stunning.
Good work alerting us Londoners to the Scottish talent - I'll watch with interest :)
