Agga B is a fashion designer and stylist. Her work is a delicious mixture of classic with a quirky twist and what I like to call wearable avant-garde.
Her collections comprise of pieces such as a sculpted jacket which looks like armour, ruffled dresses, jackets and blouses, quilted coats and skirts, funnel necked dresses, vinyl jackets and skirts and really great slim trousers.
Her embossed fabrics look like tooled leather. A particular favourite for me is the see-through vinyl tulip shaped skirts. Oh how I long for the black version! Imagine what you could do with one of those babies! If you are rather lustful of all things quilted, as I am, her stunning short sleeved quilted dress coat is totally divine.Agga B's talent lies in the ability to create classic shapes but adding her own unique little slant onto them which gives each piece it's own personality, but is also subtle enough to make sure the wearer can translate it in his/her own way. Clever!
If you love Agga B like I love Agga B, you can get her collection at Gamma Player, the boutique I wrote about a while ago, co-owned by the lovely Jeff Mills. If you can't get to Gamma Player then you just need to look at the pretty pictures like I have to. Boo.
