I think many of us have fallen in love with Prada's knee high socks by now. The second Queen Marie saw them when they first adorned the legs of the Prada models on the runway, she said "I'd be all over them". And she was right.
I did indeed obsess about them but since I couldn't get my paws on them they fell off my radar. Then Susie got them and it re-ignited my love all over again. I was even close to dispatching £50 to her to procure them for me from the Prada shop in London, but common sense prevailed. You see in Scotland we haven't had even the vaguest hint of summer and my toes have remained pretty much covered the whole year, so socks with no toe covering wouldn't have served me well.
Thanks heavens for Tabio...again! Not only are they the best shop for opaque tights, their range of cool socks is also mightily impressive. So of course it was on a matter of time before they produced a Prada-esque sock, except theirs has toes! Ideal for the Scottish weather.
I have bought the grey pair with orange top, but fully intend on getting a whole range of various colours. I am loving the khaki with green top too. These will rock when worn with closed toe shoes.
