Jewellery is very popular in the Kingdom as you may have noticed. Queen Marie likes hers whimsical and pretty and I like mine big and statement-y. So it's rare when there's a shop or designer that caters for both our tastes. So when I discovered Vice & Vanity, I think I struck gold.
Other than the fact the label is based in Singapore I know little about them. Go onto their site and if you can decipher their Label Profile chat then good luck, because I sure couldn't! Alas, it doesn't really matter who they are, because the work speaks for itself. Beautifully quirky, humorous and well crafted pieces utilising everything from animals to Deco shapes to teapots.
I think Queen Marie would rather love the teapot necklace.
The gorgeous Deco shapes are very reminiscent of the embellishments on bags and the necklaces Marc Jacobs adorned his models with in his FW07 collection.
The pieces in the Vice & Vanity range from necklaces, bracelets to brooches.
I'm pretty sure there is something for everyone here.
Queen Michelle
