Watch Out! There's a TopShop about...
So! only a couple of weeks before Phillip Green and Kate Moss touch down in the US of A for the launch at Barneys...
But it seems that Topshops ambitions are much BIGGER than that and indeed they could soon be heading your way!
Over the next three years, Green plans to open more than 100 stores overseas ( as well as revitalising all the UK ones). This includes a possible 50,000 square foot flagship store in Paris, 10 stores in Scandanavia and eventually even China and India.
If he can take on, and hold his own against Zara and H&M on the worldwide garment stge then he just may have created a global brand.
While I am far from the Brand Apostle that Queen Michelle is, I would agree that few deserve it more. Topshop are genuinely fashion forward, don't rest on their laurels and provide both quality and value. H&M always strike me as badly made of inferior raw materials and Zara is overpriced. Ooh I do like a sweeping generalisation first thing on a saturday morning...

Topshop in India? Oh please let it be true...and please let the stuff they stock be good stuff, unlike the nasty tat M&S seems to keep for crass nouveau riche idiots who want to look like they've returned "from foreign"...
